Despite yet another day of non-stop wintry weather, Chamber members new and old produced an excellent showing for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce New Office Open House on Wednesday, February 5.

After two months getting acclimated to the new space at the Wrigley Building, the Chamber hosted the general membership from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., giving people the opportunity to see the new space and enjoy lunch catered by 1st & Fresh. From 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., the Chamber’s Board of Directors had their opportunity to see the space, enjoy cocktails, and taste some delicious appetizers provided by Chamber member Food for Thought.

In addition to touring the new office and connecting with other members, attendees were able to view a presentation on the Chamber and its Charter members’ history as well as take a look at historical documents, artifacts and photos on display throughout the space. This was done in acknowledgment of the Chamber’s 110th Anniversary, which is being celebrated this year.

The Chamber would like to give special thanks to its members who provided the extra touches which helped make this day such a success: Board Member Debbie Breclaw of ARAMARK for providing the lunch from 1st & Fresh Catering; Food for Thought for catering the cocktail reception; Seasons 52 for providing amazing dessert; Harry Caray’s for their famous potato chips; and Flowerpetal.com for the beautiful flowers in Chamber blue and white.
