The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce has issued the following statement in response to Governor Pritzker’s budget address:

“We commend Governor Pritzker for proposing an increased investment in our state’s number one asset, our people. It is important that we continue to invest in our talent through our higher education, community colleges, and K-12 systems and workforce development programs, which will keep people in Illinois, create jobs, and grow our economy. The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce stands ready to work with Gov. Pritzker and legislative leaders on the fiscal stability issues that matter most to the business community, such as property tax reform and pensions,” said Jack Lavin, president & CEO, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
