Our Executive Director of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Ann Kisting, submitted testimony Tuesday, May 16th on the subject matter hearing “Nothing Builds a Future Like a Job”.

Kisting spoke on the Chamber Foundation's initiative to provide Chicago Public Schools Early College STEM School students with a meaningful work-based learning experience. The foundation places the students in part-time paid internship with clients of the Chamber’s Small Business Development Center. The testimony explained that working with high-school aged youth is a unique public-private partnership that is a win-win for the students, the Chamber Foundation, and our Chamber members and SBDC clients.
