The Chicago Sky is a professional basketball team, which is part of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) –the longest running female professional sports league in the world. Founded in 2005, the Chicago Sky became the first independently owned WNBA team in the country. The team’s Principal Owner, Michael Alter, is a Chicago native and President of the Alter Group, one of the country’s largest private commercial real estate development companies. Alter is also the Founder and President of City Year Chicago.

As one of six teams that compete in the WNBA's East

ern Conference, the Chicago Sky plays its home games at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. The regular season runs from May to September, with the playoffs concluding by the end of September.

The Sky clinched the first playoff berth in team history on August 23, 2013 and has since made four consecutive playoff appearances including its WNBA Finals debut on September 3, 2014. The Sky’s roster features some of the WNBA’s top talent including 2015 MVP Elena Delle Donne, back-to-back Sixth Woman of the Year Allie Quigley and seven-time All-Star Cappie Pondexter. Amber Stocks enters her first season as the team’s Head Coach and General Manager.

The franchise is committed to inspiring future generations by showing the world what’s possible. The Sky’s mission, showcased through some of the best female athletes in the world, is to deliver best-in-class, affordable family entertainment through positive role models who lead both on and off the basketball court, while passionately giving back to the Chicago-land community.

Individual lower bowl tickets to see the Sky in action start as low as $18 per game and groups (10 or more) can save up to $9 per ticket. Sky games are fun for the whole family and make for great company outings. Groups can also take advantage of all-inclusive food and drink options in the Sky Deck starting as low as $34 a ticket for all Friday, Saturday and Sunday games throughout the season.

The Sky also provides opportunities for your group to get in on the game with many on-court fan experiences such as participating as a co-captain, high fiving the team as they run onto the court, receiving a ball from a Sky player during team introductions.  Groups can showcase their talents on the Sky court by performing at halftime or singing the National Anthem.
