Blanca was born in Mexico City and has been in the Chicago area for the past 20 years. She brings her experience as a business executive having worked for the Mexican Government’s agency for trade and investment promotion (both in Mexico and in Chicago), as a marketing executive for a consumer goods company, and most recently as the Executive Director of the Midwest Chapter of the U.S. Mexico Chamber of Commerce.
Blanca enjoys reading and has been an athlete for over 25 years, having completed several ironman triathlons and races. Today, you will find her mostly enjoying life with her ultra-marathoner husband, kids and her beloved Spanish water dog in Chicagoland’s most unknown suburb called Golf.
Alina is City Colleges of Chicago and Roosevelt University graduate who is responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as assisting with audit and tax work paper analysis and the annual budget process. She spends her free time traveling, social dancing, and enjoying stand-up comedy and theatre.
As Senior Director, Business Analytics, Kelly is responsible for managing the Chamber’s IT solutions and using the extracted data to assist and collaborate with other departments in driving business decisions and strategy recommendations. She enjoys traveling, music, movies, sports, and spending time with family and friends.
Energized by her experience in business, marketing and development, Stacey comes to the Chamber with a passion for helping entrepreneurs and small business owners thrive. Through individual advising, programs and community outreach, Stacey works to elevate and bring awareness to the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Stacey earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Management and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Benedictine University. She is a small business owner and always takes a creative approach to her endeavors, both personally and professionally.
Amanda develops, tracks and reports on the marketing efforts of the Chamber to ensure information is accessible and a true resource to our members. She is a proud University of Michigan alum (Go Blue!) and has work experience with corporate, retail, and Chamber marketing. Recently new to Chicago, Amanda enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband and walking her border collie around the city. She loves spending her free time baking in the kitchen, playing piano, boating and traveling to new places.
Roz decided to come out of retirement in 2014 when she saw all of the great new plans the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce was making. Being a part of the positive changes has left her feeling revitalized, just like the Chamber.
As the Chamber’s Associate, Membership Resources, Sarah supports and assists the membership team in list management and data reporting. She works with all departments to help increase the success of membership recruitment and enhance the overall member experience. She enjoys traveling and movies and on the weekends you can find Sarah exploring the city with family and friends.
Margaret Rose Keating leads the Chamber’s Small Business, Middle Market, Emerging Leaders and Industry Programs which help to promote business initiatives designed to create jobs and economic investment across Chicagoland. Margaret enjoys spending time with her family and friends, she is an avid reader, and loves a bit of the theatrical.
Prior to the Chamber, Manny spent 8 years in the health & wellness sector, where he developed a passion for networking and connecting people in Chicago’s business community. Manny loves to give back, evidenced by his involvement in Chicago’s philanthropic and civic community. He serves as VP of the University of Oklahoma Alumni Club in Chicago, as well as Executive Committee Membership and Engagement Co-Chair for the Gateway for Cancer Research Associates Board. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Rugby Business Network–Chicago Chapter. He loves golf, football, futbol, & played semi-pro rugby for 8 years. Manny is bilingual-English and Spanish-and always open to connecting people throughout Chicagoland’s diverse business community.
As the Chamber’s coordinator of events, Alex assists in the planning of the yearly Chamber event calendar for all Programs, Forums, and Signature Events. She studied Political Science at Loyola University Chicago, and began her career first in Chicago’s 41st ward as an aldermanic intern, following as an associate with the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce. Although a north sider, Alex will forever be a devout White Sox fan. She is also a massive concert enthusiast and can be found most weekends at one of Chicago’s countless music venues.
An experienced networker with a background in entrepreneurship, Eva is responsible for developing membership and providing our Chamber members with strategies to successfully leverage their involvement and grow their business. Eva is a compulsive reader, has a passion for cycling and will try anything new (within reason).
Michelle manages the planning of the yearly Chamber Event Calendar for all events. She studied Finance at the University of Illinois at Chicago and moved on to work in a non-profit managing special events and fundraising campaigns. In her free time she enjoys cooking with her husband, baking sweet treats and finding new ways to stay active whether it’s yoga, kickboxing or taking a jog through her neighborhood.
Billy is a recent graduate from Loras College where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies. As a former Intern in a similar position, Billy now works as the SBDC Small Business Chicago Coordinator where he promotes SBDC services on multiple social media outlets along with working closely with the SBDC Center Director & Business Advisor along with their clients to arrange meetings to help the clients small businesses continue to grow. Billy enjoys playing and watching multiple sports and makes sure to show his south side pride as he is an avid White Sox fan.
Danielle is Manager of Policy and Programs at the Chamber. She is responsible for engaging members through Public Policy Committees, Councils, and Forums, and identifying new engagement opportunities that will ensure a greater ROI to members, including visibility for the member company and its leadership, and an exciting opportunity to impact their industry in Chicagoland and beyond.
Danielle earned both her BA in Political Science & Legal Studies and Masters in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Danielle spends her spare time working out, traveling, and volunteering.
Jill received her Bachelors and MBA from St. Xavier University. She is responsible for preparing the monthly financial statements, audit and tax preparation, and payroll and employee benefits. She enjoys shopping, baking and spending time with her family.
As the Chamber’s Board Development Coordinator, Kate acts as the liaison between the Chamber and its governing body. She is responsible for strengthening relationships with Board members and their companies, as well as documenting their progress and growth. In her free time, Kate loves spending as much time as she can outdoors, whether it is hiking in the Smokies, biking to work, or volunteering with the Chicago Park District.
