On June 16, Chicagoland Chamber President & CEO Theresa E. Mintle was honored at The Rotary Club of Chicago’s third annual Chicago Woman of the Year luncheon at the Union League Club of Chicago. The event is held to celebrate the contributions of women who “Light Up” the Chicago community.
Mintle was being recognized for her work in strengthening and fostering growth in Chicago’s business community. Friend and Chamber member Shelley Stern Grach of Microsoft Chicago nominated and presented the award to her.
Marcenia Jannel Richards of Fierce Women of Faith and Barbara Zawacki of Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago were also recognized as Women of the Year at the event. Illinois Lieutenant Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti was the keynote presenter.
