Dominican University’s Brennan School of Business Presents C-Suite Series Lecture with Chris Lowney | Wednesday, October 18th, 6:30 – 8:30 PM

Dominican University’s Brennan School of Business kicks off its annual C-Suite Speakers Series on Wednesday, October 18 with a lecture by Chris Lowney, Catholic Health Initiatives Board Chair and best-selling author. The program will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Martin Recital Hall, 7900 W. Division Street.

Lowney chairs the board of one of the nation’s largest healthcare systems and is the author of five books, including the bestselling Heroic Leadership. His other books include Pope Francis: Why He Leads the Way He Leads; and Everyone Leads: How to Revitalize the Catholic Church. He is a one-time Jesuit seminarian who later served as a Managing Director of J.P. Morgan & Co in New York, Tokyo, Singapore and London until leaving the firm.

The C-Suite Speakers Series brings top C-suite executives from leading companies in the Chicago area to campus to speak and engage with students, faculty and members of the business community. Dominican University’s Brennan School of Business Welcomes Arne Duncan at Ethics and Leadership Lecture | Tuesday, November 14th, 6:00 PM

Dominican University’s Brennan School of Business presents its 13th Annual Ethics and Leadership Lecture on Tuesday, November 14 with a lecture by former U.S. secretary of education Arne Duncan. The program will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the University Club of Chicago, 76 East Monroe Street.

Duncan is a managing partner at Emerson Collective, a social justice organization focused on developing innovative solutions to spur change and promote equality. He leads a comprehensive effort to develop job skills and opportunities for young people in Chicago. Duncan has devoted his career to expanding opportunities for young people, most notably through reforming public education. He served as the U.S. secretary of education and is credited with significant accomplishments on behalf of students and teachers. Before becoming secretary of education, Arne served as the chief executive officer of Chicago Public Schools.

The Brennan School’s annual Ethics and Leadership Lecture invites internationally-recognized corporate, civic and government executives to address current issues of principled leadership.
