CHICAGO— The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce has issued the following statement in response to Governor Rauner’s State of the State Address:

“Chicagoland business owners continue to express deep concerns over rising taxes and regulations and it is government’s job to answer those anxieties by serving as a stabilizing force for the economy. Our members are fully aware of the economic and budgetary hurdles facing our state and are poised to work with Governor Rauner and the legislative leaders in crafting common-sense budget reforms that grow our economy and good paying jobs, but also fund the needs of government,” said Jack Lavin, president & CEO, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
