A member of the Am Law 100 and Am Law Global 100, Fragomen offers immigration support in more than 170 countries. Given Chicago is the third largest city in the U.S. and is a thriving global center for industry, finance and technology with a centralized geographic location, it holds a logistical advantage for global business activity. The greater Chicagoland area houses the corporate headquarters of numerous major corporations, universities, and national laboratories.

Clients spanning a wide range of industries call on Fragomen’s Chicago office to help them meet their U.S. and worldwide immigration needs. The firm’s Chicago office works with their clients—not just for their clients—to become an integral part of their business, providing strategic support for clients’ overall mobility objectives through familiarity, focus and a high-touch approach.

Fragomen Chicago does even more than help businesses and individuals alike to start their next chapter in the nation’s heartland. Members of the firm’s Chicago office frequently participate in volunteer and pro bono opportunities to give back to the community.

Recently, team members joined together for a “Day of Service” initiative, partnering with Nourishing Hope, one of Chicago’s largest and longest-operating food pantries, and Cradles to Crayons, an organization that provides disadvantaged children with the essentials they need. The “Day of Service” initiative helps benefit unprivileged people in an effort to eliminate poverty in Chicago and its surrounding areas.

Earlier this year, Fragomen Chicago employees also participated in the 27th annual Race Judicata 5K hosted by the Chicago Volunteer Legal Service Foundation, a pro bono civil legal aid provider with more than 2,100 volunteer attorneys. The race helped benefit CVLS in its mission to ensure the law works for everyone.

These are just a few examples of Fragomen Chicago’s dedication to giving back to the local community—the firm is more than just a global presence, it is committed to making the world a better place in each of its home bases.
