Teaching the fundamentals of success

WGU Academy’s science-backed methods set students up for success. Your employees will:

  • Improve written and verbal communications to effectively collaborate
  • Strengthen work ethic and enhance teamwork
  • Engage in one-to-one executive coaching to identify and reach goals

WGU Academy’s Program for Academic and Career Advancement (PACA) is an innovative, evidence-based course designed to address how core beliefs, emotions, and habits might impact success in their current job and throughout their career.

We’re helping build resilient learners and workers.

The approach of pairing social-emotional learning (SEL) concepts with a credit-bearing curriculum at the Academy, requires resources such as coaching and advising to support long-term retention of skills building.

“We provide the strategies [and] give them platforms to apply it to their own lives, their careers, their relationships, and their academic journey,” states Reshma Gouravajhala, Ph.D., a WGU Academy research scientist.

PACA also maintains an expansive virtual community for learners to engage with, sharing their insights and fostering long-standing relationships with others from similar personal experiences.

Now is a great time to invest in your greatest assets.

Resources are available for those interested in learning more about the ETIP program or to submit an intake form. Frequently asked questions are also available, while more specific questions can be sent to etip@chicagolandchamber.org.
