Our member, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, recently announced its Global Visions Initiative, a program created in an effort to develop the museum's international scope. The program will support various exhibitions, acquisitions and curatorial activities focused on artists from Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

MCA's Senior Curator and new Director of Global Initiatives, Omar Kholeif, will lead the program, overseeing research, mentorship opportunities and facilitating dialogue across regions around the world. Kholeif will work with the initiative's co-chairs to ensure the program's success. “Together, I believe we have the potential to re-shape art history and make the MCA the most global and forward-thinking contemporary art museum in North America,” Kholeif said.
