Beginning with Conquer Cancer Day at Wrigley Field on June 1, Chamber member Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO is partnering with a variety of organizations on events and initiatives to make an impact and fight cancer in Chicagoland this June, which led Mayor Rahm Emanuel to declare next month as “Conquer Cancer Month” in the city.
In advance of the annual ASCO Annual Meeting, which brings 30,000 oncology professionals to Chicago, CCF will team with the Shops at 900 N. Michigan to host an online silent auction of luxury items and experiences from stores like Bloomingdale’s and Michael Kors. The auction will be held through CCF’s eBay platform, Saturday, May 28th- Friday, June 3rd.
June 3 through 7, The Campaign to Conquer Cancer will light up Chicago at the 2016 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting, which will include a private “Shop to Conquer Cancer” event with Brooks Brothers on June 5 where shoppers will enjoy a 15% discount on all purchases.
That’s not all; June 10 will be “Conquer Cancer Day” at the America’s World Cup, and a “Conquer Cancer Music Series” at Northerly Island will launch in June, with a schedule for each concert launching very soon.
