Chamber member Ice Miller LLP is expanding in Illinois and has taken over the entire 35th floor at 200 West Madison Street, Chicago, with the addition of offices, conference rooms and an employee café.

“We are making a strategic investment in Illinois, and we are pleased to use this opportunity to bring a greater depth of service to our clients in Chicagoland,” said Steven K. Humke, chief managing partner.  “Expanding our Chicago office aligns with our strategic growth plans and allows us to bring our services directly to our expanding client base.”

Ice Miller attorneys in Chicago offer legal services in a wide range of practice areas, including private equity and corporate transactions; municipal bonds and financing; commercial litigation; data security and privacy; real estate; environment; labor, employment and immigration; and intellectual property. The attorneys serve industries including banking and financial institutions, construction, food and agribusiness, governments and municipalities, and manufacturing.

“Expanding our presence in Illinois gives us the opportunity to offer our clients deeper bench strength in existing service areas, and to expand into emerging service areas that our clients need, such as data security,” said John D. Burke, managing partner. “We reviewed the expansion options available and we determined that our current location at 200 West Madison was the best place to be in order to bring efficient services to our clients.”

“Ice Miller understands that business is done throughout the Chicagoland area,” said David Hight, DuPage office managing partner. “Our downtown office provides the opportunity for attorneys across the firm to meet their Chicago area clients where they live and work.”

Ice Miller recently expanded into New York, with the addition of an office in Manhattan focused on private equity services. The expansion of the footprint at 200 West Madison, in the heart of the Chicago Central Business District, along with the addition of the New York office, provides for growth in private equity and corporate transaction services.
