Six cities nationwide are celebrating Chamber member Comcast NBCUniversal’s new online-only comedy platform with simulcast parties on March 12. Chicago joins Seattle, Denver, Nashville, New Haven and Philadelphia in welcoming SeeSo, an ad-free streaming service for comedy fans.

Party-goers in Chicago can expect great barbecue, beer, comedy, and SeeSo streamed live from Austin. The barbecue will be catered by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, one of the top barbecue joints in the country. Comedian Brianna Baker, one of AfterEllen.com’s “50 Hot Women in Comedy,” will provide the entertainment for the night. Brianna regularly performs at Second City Chicago and the iO Theater, and has just been cast as a recurring character on Showtime’s House of Lies.

The Chicago party will be held at Studio Xfinity on West Weed Street, which provides a one-of- a-kind, interactive shopping experience, and certainly a unique party venue.

SeeSo will be available for a $4 monthly fee, and will include television shows like Parks & Recreation and The Office, late night shows like Saturday Night Live, lots of standup comedy, and some films and originals.
