Active Transportation Alliance will host the first Kickstand Classic Bike Challenge on September 25th in Bartlett, Illinois. This unique event offers riders of all abilities the chance to see what it is like to be in an officially timed bike race. Riders race against the clock, as opposed to one another, thus ensuring a safe and enjoyable event for all.
Additionally, the bike challenge has 3 groups of riders based on experience – Speed Demons, Middle of the Road and Sunday Funday, as well as 3 ride distances for participants to choose from – 10, 14.5 or 19 miles. All riders are encouraged to bring family and friends along because after the bike challenge, there will be a festival to celebrate the day.
