The Kennedy Forum Illinois Annual Forum & Gala convenes leaders from across business, government, academia and civil society for strategic dialogues around mental health and addiction. This year’s event takes place at the Hilton Chicago and features former Congressman Patrick Kennedy, author of A Common Struggle; Actor and Author Carrie Fisher, Veteran and ESPY winner Danielle Green, Ted Talk Celebrity and Legal Scholar Elyn Saks and other notable national and state leaders.  

Conversations include topics such as workplace mental health with companies including JPMorgan Chase and Caterpillar; leadership and mental health with Metropolis Coffee CEO Tony Dreyfuss and former Google executive Bob Boorstin; addressing the media narrative with experts from the Carter Center, the Scattergood Foundation and journalists Neil Steinberg and Shannon Heffernan; Civil Rights and Mental Health with national leaders from the marriage equality, HIV-AIDS, disabilities and civil rights movements and much more.

The daytime Forum is from 8:00 am- 3:30 pm, the evening reception and Gala is from 6 pm-9:3 pm. Nearly 1,000 civic leaders from across Illinois and the nation are expected to attend.
