In just a week’s time, applications for ADA 25 Advancing Leadership’s Leadership Institute, a leadership development retreat for emerging leaders with disabilities, will close. Don’t miss your opportunity to apply or nominate emerging leaders with disabilities today!

With nearly 300,000 people in Chicago living with a disability, ADA 25 Advancing Leadership recognizes the importance of building networks of leaders with disabilities. The program’s long term goal is to build and support these networks, advance careers, and enrich Chicago’s civic life.

The program is the first of its kind in the nation – competitively selecting candidates for a two session retreat to be held in early 2017. An intensive multi-day retreat, it is an immersive, transformative experience for participants. ADA 25 Advancing Leadership is looking for emerging leaders from all sectors and areas of the six county Chicago region (Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, and McHenry). Applicants will ideally have 5 to 10 years of leadership and/or management experience, demonstrated leadership skills, a passion for engagement in civic life, and self-identify as having a disability.
