What is a Helicopter Golf Ball Drop?
The Helicopter Golf Ball Drop presented by Ferrara is an exciting contest conducted at the Chicagoland Chamber’s annual Golf Classic. Participants can enter the contest by purchasing numbered golf balls prior to the helicopter’s flight at approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25. Participants are not required to attend the Golf Classic to win.
The premise for winning is simple! On the day of the Golf Classic, purchased golf balls will drop from a helicopter onto a designated target. The ball that lands closest to the pin wins the contest. The winner will be announced later that evening at the Award Reception and will be contacted by a Chamber staff member.
The golfer whose ball lands closest to the target will win an AAdvantage® Mileage Certificate for 200,000 miles, courtesy of American Airlines.
A second-place winner will receive 30,000 World of Hyatt Points, courtesy of Hyatt, redeemable for stays at Hyatt properties around the world.
