Breaking Barriers: Empowering Disability Advocacy
Join us on July 10 as the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce proudly hosts its inaugural Disability Pride event. Under the banner of our UNITY series, specifically tailored by our Emerging Leaders Council, this event embodies the spirit of understanding, networking, and inclusion.
Through a series of TedX style presentations, we’ll delve into the heart of disability advocacy and combatting assumptions, and explore topics such as workplace accessibility and smart talent strategies honoring neurodiversity. Our esteemed speakers will share personal insights and professional expertise, offering invaluable perspectives on breaking down barriers and fostering inclusion.
Following these talks, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session intended to help them dissect the issues raised and gain practical strategies for implementing positive change. The event will conclude with a networking lunch over roundtable discussions, providing a platform for further collaboration as we collectively work towards a more inclusive future.
Join us as we celebrate and empower disability pride, champion diversity, and foster a culture of understanding and inclusion within the Chicagoland business community and beyond.
