New Equal Pay Requirements for Illinois Employers
State law requires private businesses with over 100 Illinois employees to obtain an Equal Pay Registration Certificate (EPRC) by providing certain pay, demographic, and other data to the Illinois Department of Labor. The recently imposed requirements seek to ensure that businesses comply with state and federal equal pay laws and demonstrate that they are actively seeking to improve wage disparities. After certification, businesses must continue to recertify every two years.
Join the Chicagoland Chamber’s panel of employment law attorneys as they provide an overview of changes to the Illinois Equal Pay Act and how your business can prepare for the new reporting requirements.
