Reopen Education: What Congressional COVID Funding Means for Higher Ed

Presented by

As the pandemic shut down campuses across the country, higher education institutions have faced unprecedented financial strain. Now with billions in federal funding available to colleges and universities to promote student health and academic success, administrators are making tough decisions on how best to balance these resources with the tremendous need across all areas.

From providing student debt relief to addressing critical smart infrastructure needs, how are education leaders planning to deliver healthy, safe and comfortable learning environments moving forward? What are the current gaps and challenges in spending the federal funding?  And how can we ensure that the next outbreak does not destabilize our education system as COVID-19 did?
