Upskilling Your Workers for Half the Cost

The Chicagoland Chamber Employer Training Investment Program

As businesses prepare for the new economy that will emerge coming out of this pandemic, the single greatest competitive advantage that a company can leverage is its people. This requires leaders to invest in their workforce and promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Learn how you can leverage the Chicago Chamber’s Employer Training Investment Program to equip your employees with the skills they need to succeed, thrive, and help your company grow.

Companies that participate in the ETIP can be reimbursed up to 50% of re-training or upskilling for their full-time employees. Funding for this program is made available through a generous grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO).

Speakers include:

  • Julio Rodriguez, Deputy Director, Illinois Office of Employment and Training, Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO)
  • Dr. Pedro Cevallos-Candau, Vice President, Institute for Workforce Education, a division of St. Augustine College
  • Francene Pelmon, Founder and Principal Consultant, BIS Consultants LLC
