The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce hosted a meeting with a Tech Delegation from Poland on Friday, June 5 to discuss opportunities for collaboration and development in Chicagoland and Poland.

The delegation, headed by Hon. Pawel Pietrasienski, Minister Counselor Trade & Investment Section of the Embassy of Poland in Washington DC, presented to Chamber members and representatives its Silicon Bridge Program. The Polish Silicon Bridge is a governmental program co-founded by the European Union aimed at the acceleration of Polish hi-tech companies through support for their expansion into the US market.

The pilot edition of the Silicon Bridge is now being implemented. The experience gained from the initial program will be used in other American innovation hubs like Chicago, which was discussed as a potential location where leaders of new technology industries are expanding.
