The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce has promoted Lily Scannell to Manager of Programs. In this role, Lily will oversee the Chamber’s Employer Training Grant Program and Chamber Apprenticeship Program while supporting the Chamber’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts. Additionally, she will develop programs that highlight the Chamber’s policy and government affairs work.

“Talent matters, to the Chamber and the business community, and under Lily’s leadership we will continue providing the diverse training resources that companies and organizations need to upskill their workers,” said Joey Mak, Vice President of Programs, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.

Lily joined the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce in April 2019 as an Event Coordinator. Most recently, she served as Senior Event Specialist with responsibility for managing the planning and implementation of more than 100 events that support the Chamber’s Membership, Programs, Government Relations and Operations departments, as well as the Office of the President & Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. Before the Chamber, Lily worked for Greater Louisville Inc., the Metro Chamber of Commerce in Louisville, KY, as Special Projects Manager, Economic Development.
