City Colleges of Chicago has again partnered with the Goldman Sachs Foundation to offer the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, an entrepreneurial education program designed for small business owners who have demonstrated a commitment to grow their businesses and create jobs within their community.
Applications are being accepted now for classes beginning in March 2014. The application deadline is Wednesday, January 8th. For more information or to apply, please visit www.ccc.edu/smallbiz.
Accepted small business owners will learn practical skills to grow their business, including negotiations, marketing, employee management and more. Participants also receive one-on-one business advising and getexpert guidance from Goldman Sachs professionals, attorneys and others.
Program graduates join a nationwide network of over 1,700 small business owners and counting. Just six months after completing the program, 64% had increased revenues and 45% had created net new jobs, and 80% of participants have done business with other program participants.
