Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Forbes Media Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Steve Forbes announced this morning that the “Forbes Reinventing America Summit” will be held in Chicago this March.
The event is expected to bring together business and government leaders to discuss manufacturing, a recovering industrial economy, and opportunities for growth in regions like Chicago.

Emanuel cited Chicago's history of innovation on things like cell phone technology, architecture and nuclear power.
“It is the right place to have a conference on innovation and development that can change America,” he said.
