The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for the 2015 James Tyree Emerging Business Leadership Award: Andrea Sreshta, Co-Founder and CEO LuminAID; Andrew Lutsey, Co-Founder and CEO of Local Foods; Brian Leonard, CEO of Cardio Partner Resources; and Neil Byers, Owner of Horse Thief Hollow.

The Chicagoland Chamber received more than 70 applications from a variety of industries for this year’s Tyree Award. The top 20 candidates were narrowed to 12 during a live pitch event at Mesirow Financial in April. Next, a panel of judges met to independently review and score the original applications to narrow the field to four. A private panel of judges then convened on Thursday, May 28 at the Chamber to evaluate each finalist based on their civic and charitable involvement, company leadership, growth and scalability.

The recipient of the award will be announced at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 9, at Navy Pier. The winner receives $25,000 in cash, compliments of Mesirow Financial, and valuable business services from the Chicagoland Chamber.
