The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce is once again participating in Crain’s Small Business Week 2015, one of the largest educational and business development events in the region designed just for small business owners, entrepreneurs, and those who want to join that arena.

The Chamber is one of several associations and companies dedicated to helping small businesses that are hosting programs and networking events during Small Business Week. Those interested in networking, gaining new ideas about growing a business, and hearing from other successful entrepreneurs about challenges and opportunities will have three Chamber events to choose from:

Talent Trends: Finding and Retaining Your Workforce

Tuesday, October 6 | Trophy Room, 170 West Ontario St.

This event will feature successful entrepreneurs discussing the mistakes they made, the lessons they learned, and how they navigated workforce issues on their paths to success.

Marketing Surveys: Strategies and Significance for Small Businesses

Wednesday, October 7 | Quinlan School of Business, 16 East Pearson St.

This event will feature marketing experts presenting on how to generate meaningful market research and ask the right questions in your next survey.

Speed Networking

Thursday, October 8 | Illinois CPA Society, 550 West Jackson Boulevard

Speed Networking, historically the most popular event, is a lively evening of networking that creates more than 1,000 targeted new connections. Attendees complete a brief networking profile online during pre-registration and receive a customized networking schedule upon arrival.
