The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce held its quarterly Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, April 26 at Blue Cross Blue Shield with a special appearance from the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) Executive Director Leanne Redden and Chair of the RTA Board of Directors Kirk Dillard. The Chamber’s Nominating Committee slated several additions to the Board of Directors.

Ashish has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, leveraging digital solutions to address business challenges and drive outcomes for enterprises. He currently leads the business portfolio in the Central US, with responsibility to drive business growth and market presence for TCS in the region. Prior to the current role, Ashish has been in leadership roles in business process re-engineering, large program delivery and account management serving customers in manufacturing, insurance and hi-tech industries. He has extensive experience in market development, problem solving, IT transformation and contract negotiations. Ashish has a Masters degree in Management specializing in IT & Finance and Engineering degree in Electrical.

Joshua Beer

Managing Director – Advisory & Transactions Services | CBRE

Josh is the Managing Director of CBRE’s Chicago Advisory and Transactions offering, focused on driving the region’s growth strategy for the leasing and consulting services CBRE delivers to office occupiers. Since 1975, CBRE has been serving clients throughout Chicago and holds the largest brokerage network in the Chicagoland area since 2004.​ Josh has over 15 years of Corporate Real Estate experience both as a service provider and end user. As a service provider, Josh has advised some of the largest occupier and investor clients whilst working for CBRE in the EMEA region. As an end user, Josh led Zebra Technologies global real estate transactions and strategy team, responsible for over 130 properties across 47 countries. ​

Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston University, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was awarded a Master in Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation from CoreNet Global.​ Josh resides with his wife and two sons in the greater Chicago area and is embracing the idea of learning to play golf.​

James Inglis

Senior Director of U.S. Operations | Horizon Therapeutics

James Inglis joined Horizon in 2016 and has more than 20 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry experience, primarily focused on building teams and leading product launches. At Horizon, he led the PROCYSBI product and now has responsibility for U.S. Operations.​

Prior to joining Horizon, James was with Lundbeck where he was responsible for building the U.S. strategy for new products in development, as well as held a number of leadership roles in sales and marketing. James started his career at Abbott, where he utilized his engineering background in pharmaceutical production and operations. James has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Purdue University.​

John O’Connor

Partner | Plante Moran Chicago

John is a partner at Plante Moran with a focus on serving Chicago based and National Private Equity firms and companies. He has over 30 years in the Chicagoland market working with hundreds of local companies throughout his career as a financial and business consultant and CPA. John grew up in Beverly and has a BA from DePaul University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. He also serves on other local boards including ACG Chicago and Age Options and is heavily vested in the Chicago business community.
