Chicago finds itself on another “best global cities list”, this time ranking #19 in Spain’s IESE Business School’s annual Cities in Motion Index (ICIM).

The index “ranks the world’s best (“smartest”) cities — those that have the highest levels of innovation, sustainability, and quality oflife.” Based on criteria such as governance, economy and urban planning, the list gives Tokyo the highest ranking followed by London. New York is the highest-ranked American city at number three.
