Michael Reever, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Acting President & CEO, testified at a Chicago City Council Joint Committee of Finance and Transportation hearing in opposition to a proposed ordinance that would prohibit the development and use of autonomous vehicles.

Reever told committee members: “At a time when Chicago continues to emerge and grow as a tech hub (6th fastest in the world, per KPMG March 2017 study), this ordinance, while well-intentioned, is extremely short-sighted and bad for Chicago’s economic future.”
