Megan Schildgen, U.S. Commercial Service Trade Officer, and Jan Blaho, Director of Supply Chain Finance, Export Import Bank of the U.S., joined the Chamber on Wednesday, February 19 to lead a group of Chamber members and international business professionals in a roundtable discussion on export services of U.S. Commercial Service.

The U.S. Commercial Service offers expertise in trade counseling, market intelligence, business matchmaking, and commercial diplomacy.  Schildgen and Blaho explained how access to these services can help companies make export sales, expand into new international markets, and connect with other lucrative business opportunities across the globe.

Schildgen is a Commercial Officer serving at the U.S. Commercial Service in Chicago for a two-year domestic tour and is also the CS Chicago lead on the Select USA program. Jan Blaho is a native of the Slovak Republic, and prior to joining the Export-Import Bank, most recently worked for VUB Bank in Slovakia.
