Chicago, IL – The Illinois Small Business Development Center at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce is launching a series of marketing workshops in partnership with the University of

Phoenix designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners learn how to build an audience and attract new customers.

“The Chamber will rely on the expertise of University of Phoenix faculty and students to provide thought leadership and guidance to our small businesses,” said Florence Hardy, Director of the Illinois Small Business Development Center at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. “These workshops will cover everything an entrepreneur or small business owner needs to know to effectively market their business.”

All workshops will be conducted via webinar and offered in-person at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce offices. The courses will provide instruction on the following topics:

• Methods to Conducting Market Research
• How to Create a Marketing Plan
• Implementation of Marketing Tactics
• The Best Techniques for Local Marketing
• Marketing Must-Do’s for Entrepreneurs
• Effective Branding Techniques

• Understanding your Target Market
