From the President’s Desk: A Week Dedicated to Chicago’s Small Businesses

Each year, Crain’s Chicago Business assembles small business owners, up-and-coming entrepreneurs and local professionals interested in small business for a full week of events designed just for them.

We are honored to host three of those events on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week. All of them will include lively networking receptions, relevant and timely content, and craft beer provided by Horse Thief Hollow, the popular Beverly brewpub that won our 2015 James Tyree Emerging Business Leadership Award.

You’re invited to join us for the following events to network and hear from successful small business owners and entrepreneurs about how to overcome challenges and drive growth for your small business.

  • Talent Trends – Finding and Retaining Your Workforce: Learn how some of the area’s top businesses navigate talent and workforce issues.
  • Marketing Surveys – Strategies and Significance for Small Businesses: Learn best practices from the experts to generate meaningful market research with your next survey.
  • Speed Networking: Make new connections by pre-targeting who you’d like to meet at one of our most popular annual events.

Please click here to learn more or register for these events. Our programs empower Chicago small businesses with the connections, education and resources they need to succeed, and I hope to see many of you next week.
