Over several decades, Chicago has become a staple production destination for films we all know and love. From “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “Transformers” to “The Dark Knight” and “The Blues Brothers”, Chicago’s cityscape has served as the backdrop to more than 1,100 feature films and television productions since 1980.

Generating more than $2 billion in local revenue, these productions have not only increased tourism and promoted international business, but have also helped establish Chicago as a cultural Mecca in the Midwest. Learn more about this fascinating industry at Exchange 2018. This year’s panel discussion will be comprised of Chicagoans who know firsthand about the Business of Entertainment & Culture.

Exchange 2018 is the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce’s annual signature showcase expected to draw nearly 800 attendees and 100 members to showcase their businesses. Exchange 2018 participants represent a diverse cross-section of businesses, including small, midsize and enterprise companies from Chicago’s major industries.
