The Technology Growth Committee helps Chamber member businesses adopt the latest technology so that they can realize the productivity and quality-enhancing benefits that technology offers. The Committee also monitors technology-related issues on behalf of the Chamber, and provides information that will help members identify business opportunities in the marketplace.

A Program Development Sub-Committee develops programs that educate members about marketplace technology trends and innovations, while a Policy Sub-Committee reviews and monitors legislative developments related to technology and works with the Chamber to include these developments in its Legislative and Business Agendas.

The Chicagoland Technology 2020 Committee advises, promotes and educates the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce members, and the business community on innovative and accessible technology solutions. The Committee aims to position Chicagoland as a diverse and strategic player in the global marketplace and continues to support efforts to transform the region into a technology and innovation hub.

The Committee sponsors Tech Wednesdays to provide training and education that teaches business owners how technology improves operations, minimizes time spent on administrative tasks, markets their business, and increases sales. Monthly events are held on the third Wednesday of the month from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.
