Chamber Releases 2012 Public Policy Legislative Report
On Thursday, January 31, the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce released its 2012 Public Policy Legislative Report during its Board of Directors Meeting at 1871 Chicago.
The 2012 Public Policy Legislative Report includes a summary of Chamber activities and results as measured against priorities established in the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce 2012 Legislative Agenda.
The report addresses the Chamber's strong push for public employee pension reform, development of a Chicago casino, a phase-out of the Chicago head tax, elimination of the 1 percent Cook County sales tax, our work with the City of Chicago, State of Illinois and Cook County, and our 2012 Legislative Agenda with Outcomes.
During the meeting, the Board of Directors also approved the Chamber's Legislative Agenda for 2013.
