The Chicagoland Chamber, in conjunction with the Consulate General of Czech Republic in Chicago and the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, hosted a business breakfast reception yesterday in honor of MUDr. Martin Kuba, the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Czech Republic.
Kuba travelled with a delegation of prominent business leaders and executives representing investment, banking, consulting, manufacturing, engineering, media and steel industries from the Czech Republic.
About 50 U.S. business representatives attended the event, where they learned about business opportunities with Czech companies representing those sectors. The speaking program was followed by one-on-one meetings and networking.
“The Chamber works closely with other international organizations to develop events like this to give our members access to global markets and resources,” said Shufen Zhao, the Chamber’s Director of International Programs.
