Chamber is Hopeful for Quick Resolution to Chicago Teacher's Strike
The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce is hopeful that Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Teacher’s Union will resolve the current strike quickly so that Chicago’s students can return to school as soon as possible.
The Chamber supports Mayor Emanuel and the Chicago School Board in their efforts to negotiate a contract that will build on the public school reforms of 1995. We are confident they are striving to ensure Chicago’s classrooms will provide a stimulating academic environment with highly qualified and effective teachers to educate Chicago’s future workforce.
