UPDATE: Vote YES on Workers' Compensation Reform
UPDATE – SB 1349 Workers’ Compensation Reform Falls Short in Senate
Late Thursday night, SB 1349, the employer-sponsored workers' comp reform bill, was voted on in the Senate and failed on a vote of 24-6-28 (28 PRESENT votes). Despite this result, supporters of workers' comp reform are encouraged that there seems to be a real commitment in the General Assembly to pass meaningful reform this session and the Chamber will continue to work in coalition with our business group partners, the Governor's Office and the General Assembly on this critical issue.
